Spooky season is upon us, and I decided to head a jumpstart on my decorating! I’m not into the scary Halloween decor. I prefer cute Halloween decor which is why when I saw this “EEK” at the dollar store I knew I had to do something with it.

For this project, I used a couple pieces of painted wood, my trusty transfers, some chalk paste, and that adorable EEK!

I started the project by chalking the word SPOOKY and some spider webs on my painted blocks of wood. I even put an adorable little spider on one with the words “The Witch is in”.

Of course, I couldn’t go without adding San adorable little pumpkin. I used mostly black chalk paste for this project, but you could really have some fun with some purples and greens too.

Then it was time to focus on our dollar store project…the EEK!

Since the EEK was black I decided to use white and orange chalk paste to add some spooky, but adorable accents to it. Let me tell you what…it came out amazing!!!!!

I was so happy with this SPOOKY SEASON table topper, I just couldn’t wait to put it out. This project was so much fun and so easy to do! Now I have a custom piece for my home!
