January is almost gone, how did that happen?
Hey, Chalky Friends! It’s your favorite Chalk Couture Designer Mary Jo here, fresh off a whirlwind weekend at the American Vintage Market Days in Sarasota and buzzing with excitement for next month’s Coastal Carolina Myrtle Beach event!
Let me tell you, January has been a month brimming with creativity, connection, and sunshine (well, mostly sunshine – some Florida sprinkles never hurt anyone!) and the joy of getting some time in the Snow at Leadership Summit.
American Vintage Market Days: Chalkboard Treasures by the Beach
Stepping into the American Vintage Market Days felt great to be starting 2024 at such a wonderful event. These market days are some of my favorites! Rows upon rows of vintage booths brimming with farmhouse charm, coastal vibes, and so much more. Of course, setting up my booth was a whirlwind with all the chalk possibilities. Speaking of the journey, I can’t say enough about the value of having a supportive team behind you. Being part of a well-connected network of Chalk Couture Designers, and being able to be their mentor, has been invaluable. From troubleshooting transfers to mastering business strategies, being mentor has always been my joy and favorite part of this business. We are more than a team of designers we are sisters, friends, and a Flocking Family.
If you’re even remotely considering dipping your toes into the Chalk Couture world, let me tell you: don’t go it alone! Make sure you join a team where you will be supported and surrounded by other amazing designers. So, with Sarasota still swirling in my head, I’m already planing what I will pack in my bags for the Coastal Carolina Myrtle Beach event!
